On my goals for this quarter

One of the things that I like to do is to set goals for the semester/quarter. I started this in my senior year of high school - where I posted my written goals on my bathroom door so every day I would see them. In college, I started writing them on the back of my door to my bedroom, so that I would see them every day before I left for campus.

To be honest, I have never been able to meet them, there's always a few that got away. However, it was always fun trying to strive for them.

So without further ado - these are my goals

  1. Be able to bike to the Golden Gate Bridge and back. This is a distance of 80 miles roundtrip - I want to be able to take on larger road trips so that cycling becomes a part of my lifestyle.

  2. Eat healthily -Have vegetables every night, and fruits at least twice a day.

  3. Do 20 pullups in a row - My goal is to do 20 strict pullups in a row

  4. Play guitar on a weekly basis - I want to redevelop my guitar playing skills, which I had left almost a decade ago. This time, I want to be able to play a wide repertoire of music from pop to rock.

On the last day of the quarter, I will come back and review how well I did on each of my goals. I am excited to try these different goals out, and see where that takes me.
